This white gold ring with citrine builds its own identity through sweeping lines that converge towards the central gemstone. The warm colour of the citrine engages in a dialogue with the yellow diamonds, while the polished and engraved surfaces introduce more subtle variations of light.
The structure has a strong presence on the hand, but the tapered shape and continuous design keep the balance between volume, colour and proportions clearly readable.

The initial meeting serves to understand the starting reference and define a coherent direction for proportions, gemstones, metals and daily wear.
Intersezioni belongs to my archive of completed works and documents a design process. Each new ring is redesigned in relation to the person, the size of the hand, the chosen gemstones, the materials, the intended use and the desired character. In my workshop in Altamura, I personally oversee the checks required to achieve balance, comfort and visual coherence.
The project stems from an encounter with an architect client, drawn to sharp, linear geometries capable of intersecting. The ring Trillion already present in my archive, it offered the first reference, then reworked through new tones, combinations and proportional solutions.
The comparison transformed the initial inspiration into an autonomous composition, closer to her language and the desired presence on the hand.
I made Intersezioni in 18-carat white gold, featuring a central natural citrine and natural yellow diamonds. 3D modelling and prototyping made it possible to check heights, thicknesses and proportions between the parts prior to lost-wax casting.
Pavé, prong settings and silk-effect burin engraving articulate the light, while polishing and quality control complete the manufacturing precision.
Since 2009, I have guided private clients and couples through the creation of their jewellery in my atelier. Over thirty years of goldsmithing experience guide every stage: listening, design, workshop, quality control, and delivery. Awards, mentions, and accolades tell the story of the artisanal, technical, and creative journey that underpins my work. Each badge links to an in-depth article on the blog.
A geometry, a gemstone or a visual reference can become the starting point for a ring developed to your proportions. In my Altamura atelier, we will evaluate shape, materials, colours and feasibility together.
The initial meeting is to clarify desires, materials, structure, timelines, and feasibility. It doesn't require an immediate decision.
