Curiosity sparked passion, passion became love, and love gave life to my atelier

For over thirty years, I have worked in the world of jewellery, combining work at the goldsmith’s bench, 3D design and technical expertise in the creation of bespoke jewellery.

I have chosen to bring traditional Italian goldsmithing together with digital design tools, without losing the value of gesture, material and knowledge passed on at the workbench. I feel a responsibility to safeguard and pass on this heritage, so that it can continue to live through new creations and future generations.

The magic of fire

When I was a child, I used to spend hours in front of the fireplace. I would tap the burning logs with the poker to make the glowing bark fly off, and I would be mesmerised by the sparks.

The poker was my wand, I was the magician, and those sparks were my first form of magic. That gesture taught me early on that material is transformed only when hands, fire and attention work together.

A child’s dream

One day, leafing through “Il Piccolo Palazzi”, I came across an illustrated page dedicated to the goldsmith: a craftsman capable of transforming precious metals into jewellery, using tools with strange names and, above all, fire.

At thirteen, I convinced my parents to let me spend time in a goldsmith’s workshop in my town. I felt like the luckiest boy in the world.

My first creations

Family and friends were the first people I created for. At fourteen, I began experimenting with my hands, working with gold, silver and leather.

With my small earnings, I built my first workbench in the garage, tool by tool. Within a year, I had reached my first goal: a complete bench and a craft that was beginning to take shape.

I did not yet know where that path would lead me, but I had already understood that my hands, metal and the workbench would be at the centre of my professional life.

Florence and Valenza: from the goldsmith’s bench to 3D design

I was almost nineteen when I left for Florence with my workbench and tools. There I worked within the fine jewellery sector and learned by observing experienced goldsmiths, first with my eyes and then with my hands.

In Valenza, I deepened my knowledge of 3D design and CNC milling. Since then, digital design and craftsmanship have become complementary tools: not to replace the hand, but to see more clearly, design more precisely and share choices with the client.

This dual expertise – combining traditional craftsmanship with contemporary technology – remains at the heart of my approach today.

The workshop: where choices take shape

When I was approaching thirty, I chose to return to Puglia for an extended stay. After meeting the love of my life, I decided to open my own goldsmith’s workshop: an open atelier where the process is not kept hidden, but becomes part of the relationship with the client.

Here, craftsmanship meets 3D design, prototyping and inspection tools. You can see the bench, the work, the tests, the technical stages and the choices that transform an idea into a piece of jewellery.

Every decision is communicated clearly, because value lies not only in the materials themselves, but also in the care and knowledge with which they are transformed.

From training to the jeweller's bench: the journey that shaped my method

In this video, I recount the journey that led me to the goldsmith’s bench: from my artistic training to the masters I encountered in Florence, from 3D design in Valenza to my return to Puglia, where the Jewellery Experience project was born.

It is the story of how tradition, technology and listening to the client became part of my way of creating bespoke jewellery, from personalised projects to creations shaped around memory and meaning.

In Personalised Jewellery, I interpret forms, proportions, materials and style. In Narrative Jewellery, I translate a story, memory or meaning into material form, ensuring that what matters is not lost along the way.

Throughout both processes, I remain your direct point of contact – from the initial consultation through to delivery and ongoing support.
