In the jewellery sector, every technical assessment requires method, caution and knowledge of the subject. A piece of jewellery is never observed solely for its beauty: it is read through its structure, materials, craftsmanship, the history it carries with it and the documentation that accompanies it.
Because of this, alongside my work as a master goldsmith and 3D designer in the Altamura workshop, I also consider the professional and expert appraisal dimension of my career to be important.

Being an expert in the precious items sector means approaching every appraisal with a technical and responsible eye. Gold, gemstones, jewellery, silverware, watchmaking and goldsmithing require diverse skills, attention to detail and the ability to document what is observed.
In my work, this skill is not separate from craft practice. It completes it. The hand knows the material, experience interprets it, and method makes it clear and verifiable.
