Revelation in the sea is a white gold ring with natural pink sapphire e natural diamonds, built around a central gemstone with sharp geometry. At the sides, the diamonds and curved lines form a boat-like presence that complements the colour without overpowering it.
The stem remains minimal and lets the composition emerge; on the hand, the piece of jewellery maintains a balance between chromatic intensity, openwork, ornamental flow and overall proportions.

I personally handle the storytelling, design, prototyping, and final quality control in my workshop in Altamura or online.
At sea, amidst the rhythm of the voyage and the open horizon, certain signs began to form a certainty even before it was spoken: a baby girl was coming. Rivelazione nel mare (Revelation at Sea) captures that subtle transition between intuition and reality. The pink sapphire holds the centre of the revelation, while the diamonds accompany its light. The side lines seem to open up like an announcement, transforming anticipation into a presence to be carried with one.
Revelation in the sea belongs to my archive of completed works and stems from an anticipated birth, a journey, and a personal intuition entrusted to the project. It is not a shape to be replicated: every new piece of jewellery is redesigned taking into consideration history, gemstones, hand proportions, materials, intended use, and symbolic intensity.
The project was born during a cruise, amidst omens and intuitions that seemed to anticipate the arrival of a baby girl. I turned this revelation into a composition that entrusts the pink sapphire with the heart of the story and the diamonds with the light that surrounds it in a boat-shaped silhouette.
The reference to the sea lives in the movement of the lines, in the solids and voids, and in the way the structure opens around the gemstone.
I developed the ring through 3D modelling and prototyping, verifying the height, thickness and proportions between the central gemstone, side elements and shank with the client. Following the lost-wax casting of the 18-carat white gold, the natural pink sapphire and natural diamonds were set using prong and flush settings.
Polishing makes the fittings legible, while quality control checks stability, finish and wearability.
Since 2009, I have guided private clients and couples through the creation of their jewellery in my atelier. Over thirty years of goldsmithing experience guide every stage: listening, design, workshop, quality control, and delivery. Awards, mentions, and accolades tell the story of the artisanal, technical, and creative journey that underpins my work. Each badge links to an in-depth article on the blog.
A birth, a journey or a memory that has left its mark can become the origin of a personal project. In my atelier in Altamura I translate these references into material, proportion and light.
The initial meeting is to clarify desires, materials, structure, timelines, and feasibility. It doesn't require an immediate decision.
