Onde blu is part of the archive of creations made in my atelier. It does not represent a model to be reproduced, but rather the testimony of a design path built around specific requirements, gems and proportions.
Every new work stems from dedicated listening and takes shape through different choices, guided by the individual, the available materials and the desired result.
This project stems from the desire to give a new form to gemstones already belonging to the client. Starting from some reference images and a direct discussion on aesthetic expectations, I developed a design proposal in my Altamura workshop capable of enhancing the existing material through a personal language.
The entire journey was guided by the balance between aesthetics, wearability and proportions, so that every choice found a coherent relationship with the hand and the identity of the person for whom the creation was intended.
The creation is crafted in 18-carat white gold with marquise-cut blue sapphires and declared Amsterdam-cut white and pink diamonds. Prior to production, a 3D design and prototyping phase was carried out to evaluate volumes, gemstone proportions, and overall presence on the hand.
The definitive form was achieved through the lost-wax casting technique, a step that allowed the design to be precisely transferred into the material while maintaining the proportions defined during development, and the setting that made every single gemstone a place of light and magic.
