Concentric is a white gold ring with natural diamonds, organised through a succession of circular shapes. The diamond central element forms the visual focal point, while the two concentric bands distribute the light with order and depth.
The stem accompanies the head with a clean and luminous line; on the hand, the composition maintains a defined presence without losing balance between surface, height and proportions.

I personally oversee gem evaluation, design, prototype testing and final quality control.
Concentrico belongs to my archive of completed works and documents how pre-existing gemstones can find a new structure through a complete design. It is not a shape to be replicated: every new ring is redesigned considering the quantity and characteristics of the stones, the anatomy of the hand, proportions, materials and intended use.
In my laboratory in Altamura I personally oversee every phase, from the initial assessment to the final quality control.
The project stems from a request to salvage the gemstones from a previous engagement ring, the design of which did not meet the client's expectations. I redesigned the composition starting from the available diamonds, transforming them into a more essential and controlled geometry.
Direct comparison and prototype testing made it possible to precisely define the head diameter, height, thicknesses and relationship with the hand.
I developed Concentrico using 3D modelling and prototyping, building the new structure around the characteristics of the recovered gemstones. Following the lost-wax casting of the 18-carat white gold, the natural diamonds were set using the pavé technique.
Polishing distinguishes metal profiles from luminous surfaces, while quality control checks finish continuity, gemstone stability and construction consistency.
Since 2009, I have guided private clients and couples through the creation of their jewellery in my atelier. Over thirty years of goldsmithing experience guide every stage: listening, design, workshop, quality control, and delivery. Awards, mentions, and accolades tell the story of the artisanal, technical, and creative journey that underpins my work. Each badge links to an in-depth article on the blog.
Gemstones from a previous unsuccessful creation can become the starting point for a completely new project. In my studio in Altamura, we will assess technical possibilities, proportions and wearability together.
The initial meeting is to clarify desires, materials, structure, timelines, and feasibility. It doesn't require an immediate decision.
