Abstract Ring is a bespoke white gold and rose gold jewellery piece with Aquamarine Trillion cut. The structure has a strong, sculptural character: the volume stems from geometric surfaces, the contrasts between the two metals and a central stone that becomes the focal point of the composition.
The set combines contemporary presence and artisanal attention, with a shape that works on the hand like a small architectural piece to wear.

The first meeting serves to clarify the direction, feasibility and proportions of the project.
Abstract ring belongs to the archive of created works and tells the story of a design method, not a form to be mass-produced. It can become an initial inspiration for a new bespoke ring, built around a stone, a formal preference or a different material balance.
Each piece of work stems from direct consultation and is redefined based on the proportions, actual use and identity of the person who will wear it.
The project stems from a specific wish of the client: to develop a contemporary ring starting from images gathered online and a suggestion already present in my Creations gallery, in particular from the’ring Nest.
Starting from that initial reference, I reworked the forms, proportions and construction of the piece of jewellery, avoiding a literal repetition. The result takes its direction from the available stone, the dialogue between white and rose gold, and the idea of building a personal form, closer to an architectural mark than a traditional setting.
The creation is crafted in white gold and rose gold with a Trillion-cut aquamarine. The outer frame and bezel are burin-engraved using ancient Florentine techniques, while the white gold section develops a faceted language inspired by low-poly aesthetics.
In my workshop in Altamura, I followed the project through 3D design, 3D prototyping and preliminary photographic renderings, which were useful for evaluating volumes, colour balance and the relationship between the metals. The creation involved lost-wax casting and hammer setting.
Since 2009, I have guided private clients and couples through the creation of their jewellery in my atelier. Over thirty years of goldsmithing experience guide every stage: listening, design, workshop, quality control, and delivery. Awards, mentions, and accolades tell the story of the artisanal, technical, and creative journey that underpins my work. Each badge links to an in-depth article on the blog.
We can start from a stone, a visual reference or an idea yet to be clarified, to transform it into a design that is coherent in its shapes, materials and wearability.
The initial meeting is to clarify desires, materials, structure, timelines, and feasibility. It doesn't require an immediate decision.
