White gold and diamond pendant A gift for you, with two hands cradling the central stone

A gift for you

An 18-carat white gold narrative pendant, where two hands offer a natural diamond in the symbolic gesture of giving.

The creation

The white gold and diamond pendant “A Gift for You” focuses the gaze on the central stone, held by two hands shaped in the gesture of an offering. A circular element envelops the composition and gives order to its solids and voids, whilst the polished finish of the gold interacts with softer surfaces and the light of the natural diamond. When worn, the pendant maintains a distinct and understated presence, with its luminous focal point close to the body.

Even a gesture can become matter

From a personal gesture, a new bespoke pendant can be born, designed around the meaning you wish to entrust to the material.

The initial meeting serves to understand the meaning of the project, evaluate its direction and feasibility, and define the initial references.

Narrative jewel

At the heart of this piece of jewellery is a simple gesture: two hands presenting a gift to a loved one. The natural diamond thus becomes the luminous focal point of the composition, whilst the hands transform the act of giving into a form to be worn. Created for a birthday, the pendant links the light of the stone to the care contained within the gesture, portraying the gift not as something separate from the relationship, but as a token thoughtfully conceived for the recipient.

“Un dono per te” belongs to my archive of created works and documents a design journey, not a shape to be repeated. Each new pendant is redesigned around the person, the proportions, the materials, the use, and the meaning it must hold.

From inspiration to design

Inspiration

The project stems from the request for a symbolic lighting feature to be given to a loved one for a birthday. The act of giving became the formal reference: two hands present and cradle the diamond, transforming a classic element into a personal composition. The client took inspiration from the piece of jewellery Life present in mine gallery of commissioned work.

Materials and finishes

I developed the pendant through 3D modelling and prototyping to verify proportions, heights, thicknesses, and the relationship between the hands, the diamond, and the circular structure prior to manufacturing. The 18-carat white gold crafting involved lost-wax casting, prong setting, polishing, and quality control. The prototype allowed us to evaluate the presence of the jewel and refine the details before moving on to the final material.

How is a piece of jewellery born?

A piece of jewellery can be inspired by a specific request or by a story worth cherishing. It is Custom when it starts with a shape, a stone, a material or a style to be crafted to measure. It becomes narrative When transforming a memory, symbol or personal passage into substance, proportion and meaning. Wedding rings, rings, pendants, necklaces and bracelets can follow both paths. In the Jewellery section, you can discover which one best suits your idea.
