The earrings with emeralds e diamonds they develop a drop-shaped line, punctuated by teardrop-shaped lighting elements. The 18-carat white gold accompanies the green of the natural emeralds and the light of the diamonds without weighing down the composition. On the face, the structure remains slender and mobile, with an elegant presence that focuses the gaze on the green stone and maintains the legible vertical rhythm of the whole.

The initial meeting serves to clarify the aesthetic direction, stones, proportions and feasibility before developing the design.
Emerald drops belongs to my archive of already completed creations and documents a precise exploration of proportion, light and wearability. For a new pair of earrings, I begin again with the person, the occasion, the stones, the materials and the relationship with the face. I therefore redesign the structure, volumes and details so that the initial reference leads to an independent solution, coherent with the wearer.
The project originated as a gift from the groom's parents to the bride, with a specific request: elegance and refinement. I worked on a shape capable of complementing the face during the wedding without relying on excessive language. The teardrop becomes the visual focal point, while the sequence of the upper elements builds continuity and movement. The result translates the occasion into a personal token, designed for that presence and that moment.
I developed the structure using 3D modelling and prototyping, so as to check the proportions, articulation and relationship between the different parts before lost-wax casting. The 18-carat white gold holds natural emeralds and diamonds; the prong and pavé settings contribute to the luminous rendering of the design. Polishing and quality control complete the work, which I oversee directly in my workshop in Altamura.
Since 2009, I have guided private clients and couples through the creation of their jewellery in my atelier. Over thirty years of goldsmithing experience guide every stage: listening, design, workshop, quality control, and delivery. Awards, mentions, and accolades tell the story of the artisanal, technical, and creative journey that underpins my work. Each badge links to an in-depth article on the blog.
We can start from a stone, a shape or a precise idea of elegance to define earrings designed around the face and the person.
The initial meeting is to clarify desires, materials, structure, timelines, and feasibility. It doesn't require an immediate decision.
