Trinity

Three levels of matter recount the beginning, evolution and milestone of fifty years of married life

The creation

The Trinity bespoke wedding bands build their presence through three distinct tiers that run the entire width of the band. The transition between the raw surface, burin engraving and polished area creates a legible rhythm in both material and light, without relying on added elements. On the hand, proportions, heights and thicknesses were verified through direct consultation with the couple prior to final production.

What story do you want to entrust to your rings?

Trinity shows how the time of a couple can become matter and pave the way for new faiths conceived around your story.

The initial meeting is used to focus on history, proportions and design direction calmly and precisely.

Narrative wedding rings

Three levels, a single path. The raw surface represents the beginning of marriage, when the journey is still all to be traveled; the burin engraving marks the twenty-fifth anniversary, with the trace left by experience. In the fiftieth year, the surface rises and becomes polished: it reflects the light and, symbolically, invites one to recognize oneself in the shared path that has transformed time into memory.

Trinity belongs to my archive of created works and documents a way of transforming a couple's story into form, proportion and surface.

From inspiration to design

Inspiration

Trinity was created to give shape to fifty years of marriage through three moments of the same journey. The lowest level evokes the beginning of married life, the middle one the twenty-fifth anniversary, while the highest level represents the fiftieth. I transformed this temporal succession into concrete variations of elevation and surface, so that the evolution of the bond could be perceptible in the material.

Materials and finishes

I made Trinity in 18-carat yellow gold, developing the design using 3D modelling and prototyping to check the structure and proportions before the final stage. The craftsmanship involved lost-wax casting, hand engraving, polishing and quality control. The contrast between the raw surface, the engraved part and the polished level allows the same material to take on three different characters, consistent with the narrative.

Certifications and registrations

Technical expertise, professional registrations and qualifications have accompanied the development of my work in the goldsmithing and jewellery field.
