Roccia is a pair of bespoke 18-carat white gold wedding bands featuring a natural diamond. The bands have a strong, tactile presence: textured and irregular surfaces are traversed by a polished, sinuous line that creates a contrast of light and lightens the visual mass. The diamond introduces a bright focal point to the composition, while substantial widths and profiles give the rings a sculptural character, designed to remain striking on the hand.

The initial consultation serves to understand your history and evaluate together the most consistent direction for the project.
In Roccia I have translated the meeting of two natures without cancelling their differences. The irregular surface evokes the solidity of stone; the softer, more luminous mark introduces a silky quality that runs through both wedding rings, like a presence capable of uniting them. The diamond guards the horizon: not a pre-written goal, but the point to look towards together, while the two bands transform contrast into a shared form.
Roccia belongs to my archive of completed creations and documents a journey born for a specific couple. I do not consider it a form to be repeated: a new project always starts from the people who will wear it, their proportions, the chosen materials, daily use and the meaning they wish to hold.
The project was born from listening to an engaged couple from Switzerland, who wanted to entrust their personal story to their wedding rings. The hardness of the rock, associated with the groom, meets the silky delicacy attributed to his partner: two different qualities translated into the surface treatment of the gold. The diamond holds the image of the horizon, understood as a life to be traversed together, without turning the narrative into a literal symbol.
I developed Roccia by combining 3D modelling, prototyping and lost-wax casting, followed by claw-setting the diamond, polishing and quality control. The preliminary phase was managed remotely via video calls; the prototypes were shipped to the couple to check proportions, heights and thicknesses prior to production. This step made it possible to refine the presence of the bands and their relationship with the hand.
Discover what it means to create your wedding rings together
Come into the workshop and discover a different way of experiencing the creation of your wedding rings.
You will be involved in the most significant phases of the process, accompanied step by step throughout the experience.
At the end of the day, you will take away not only the wedding rings, but also the memory of having made them together with your own hands.
Since 2009, I have guided private clients and couples through the creation of their jewellery in my atelier. Over thirty years of goldsmithing experience guide every stage: listening, design, workshop, quality control, and delivery. Awards, mentions, and accolades tell the story of the artisanal, technical, and creative journey that underpins my work. Each badge links to an in-depth article on the blog.
If you would like your wedding rings to hold a personal meaning, I can guide you from listening to the definition of shapes, proportions and symbols capable of truly belonging to your story.
The initial meeting is to clarify desires, materials, structure, timelines, and feasibility. It doesn't require an immediate decision.
