Detail of the 18-carat white gold Olive wedding rings with olive wood and diamonds

Olive tree

White gold, olive wood and diamond wedding rings born from the place where a love story began

The creation

These white gold and diamond wedding rings pair 18-carat white gold with a continuous olive wood inlay. The structure remains clean and legible, while the contrast between metal, wood and light introduces depth without weighing down the band. One of the rings features a sequence of diamonds, the other a more subtle single stone. Through the prototypes, I checked proportions, heights and thicknesses with the couple, keeping a close focus on everyday wearability.

Your place can become matter

A place that belongs to your history can become material, proportion and a sign of new beliefs designed around you.

The first consultation can also take place via video call and serves to understand which memory to transform into form, material and proportions.

Narrative wedding rings

The story of Ulivo begins among ancient trees, during a typical Apulian celebration, in the place where the couple met. In the design, I let that very material preserve the origin of their bond: the olive wood runs through the wedding rings as a tangible trace of the place where it all began. White gold and diamonds accompany this memory without replacing it, building around it a shape destined for the everyday gesture of being together.

This pair of wedding rings belongs to my archive of creations and holds a solution born from a specific story. Each new project is redesigned around the individuals, the proportions of their hands, the materials, everyday wear and the meaning they wish to entrust to them.

From inspiration to design

Inspiration

Ulivo stems from a precise memory: the couple meeting during a traditional Apulian celebration, inside an olive grove of ancient trees. Their relationship originated from that place, and the olive tree itself became the material reference of the project. I worked with them to turn this memory into a discreet and tangible presence, testing through prototypes how the wood could converse with white gold and diamonds without losing balance and legibility.

Materials and finishes

For Ulivo I worked with 18-carat white gold, olive wood and diamonds, following 3D modelling, prototyping, lost-wax casting, pave setting, polishing and quality control. The design allowed me to define the relationship between the metal, the wooden insert and the areas dedicated to the stones. Subsequently, the prototypes made a concrete check with the couple possible, before moving on to the final production and finishes.

Do you want to start from a creation like this?

If a place, an encounter or a memory belongs to your story, we can start from there to design wedding rings capable of safeguarding its meaning. In my studio in Altamura I personally oversee the transition from narrative to form, checking materials and proportions with you.

The initial meeting is to clarify desires, materials, structure, timelines, and feasibility. It doesn't require an immediate decision.
