Abbraccio two-tone wedding rings in 18-carat yellow and white gold

18-carat yellow and white gold wedding bands, designed as two entities seeking and welcoming one another

The creation

The Abbraccio two-tone wedding rings combine 18-carat yellow and white gold in a dynamic structure, built through lines that come together, overlap and follow the entire circumference. The chromatic contrast makes the movement of the form legible and continually alters the light on the hand. Through the prototypes, I verified proportions, heights and thicknesses with the couple, seeking a balance between visual presence, continuity and everyday wearability.

Your story can become form

A gesture that belongs to your history can become the starting point for new wedding rings designed around you.

The initial consultation can also take place via video call and serves to understand which meaning to translate into form, material and proportions.

Narrative wedding rings

In Abbraccio the gesture of embracing becomes structure. The two shades of gold run along the band as distinct presences that draw close, accompany one another and find continuity within the same ring. The reference stems from the embrace that the couple recognises as a refuge for their certainties, happiness and shared serenity. The meaning is not added at the end: it guides the design and becomes part of the way the material comes together.

Abbraccio belongs to my archive of completed creations and holds a solution born around a specific couple. Each new project is redesigned around people, the proportions of their hands, materials, daily use and the meaning they wish to transform into matter.

From inspiration to design

Inspiration

The project stems from visual references chosen online by the couple and a much more personal meaning: the embrace as a place to rediscover certainty, happiness and serenity. From this concept I developed a form in which the two colours do not simply sit side by side, but relate to one another through an enveloping flow. The preliminary phase also began on a video call; subsequently, trying on the prototypes allowed us to evaluate proportions and presence on the hand together.

Materials and finishes

For Abbraccio, I worked with 18-carat yellow gold and white gold, following 3D modelling, prototyping, lost-wax casting, polishing and quality control. Digital design allowed me to control the relationship between the different curves of the band and the continuity of the volumes. Subsequently, the prototypes made tangible verification possible with the couple, before moving on to final production and finishing.

Certifications and registrations

Technical expertise, professional registrations and qualifications have accompanied the development of my work in the goldsmithing and jewellery field.

Come into the workshop and discover a different way of experiencing the creation of your wedding rings.

You will be involved in the most significant phases of the process, accompanied step by step throughout the experience.

At the end of the day, you will take away not only the wedding rings, but also the memory of having made them together with your own hands.

Awards and recognition

Since 2009, I have guided private clients and couples through the creation of their jewellery in my atelier. Over thirty years of goldsmithing experience guide every stage: listening, design, workshop, quality control, and delivery. Awards, mentions, and accolades tell the story of the artisanal, technical, and creative journey that underpins my work. Each badge links to an in-depth article on the blog.

Do you want to start from a creation like this?

If there is a gesture, a memory or a symbol that belongs to your relationship, we can start from there to design new narrative wedding rings. In my atelier in Altamura I personally oversee the transition from the story to the shape, checking proportions, materials and how they feel on the hand with you.

The initial meeting is to clarify desires, materials, structure, timelines, and feasibility. It doesn't require an immediate decision.
