This yellow gold and emerald ring develops like an organic weave around the central gemstone. The lines intertwine, open up and meet again, alternating solid and empty spaces that make the structure intricate yet visually light. diamonds they mark some passages of the design with luminous points, while on the hand the ring maintains a large, balanced presence that is legible from multiple angles.

The first meeting serves to understand which origins, people and relationships to make visible and how to transform them into a wearable form.
Roots grow in silence, far from the gaze, yet they sustain every branch that reaches for the light. In this ring, two lands meet without losing their own identity: Apulia and Campania become lines that draw close, intertwine and protect a shared centre. The emerald, guardian of hope and memory beyond life that continues; the diamonds mark presences and passages. To the children remains a message: knowing one's origin helps in choosing the direction.
Radici belongs to my archive of past creations and holds precise origins and relationships. A new narrative project is redesigned starting from the people involved, the places to be remembered, the proportions of the hand, the materials and the intended use.
The inspiration comes from the meeting of two family backgrounds: she from Bari, he from Naples. The desire was to leave the children a sign capable of reminding them that roots do not hold back, but rather support growth and help find balance. I translated this idea into a weave of branches and connections converging towards the emerald, the living centre of a story built from different origins and a shared journey.
I developed Radici in 18-carat yellow gold with a natural oval emerald and natural diamonds. 3D modelling and prototyping made it possible to control the weaves, openings, heights and thicknesses prior to lost-wax casting. The claw setting supports the emerald, while the grain setting integrates the diamonds into the pattern. Polishing and quality control complete a structure designed for stability and comfort.
Since 2009, I have guided private clients and couples through the creation of their jewellery in my atelier. Over thirty years of goldsmithing experience guide every stage: listening, design, workshop, quality control, and delivery. Awards, mentions, and accolades tell the story of the artisanal, technical, and creative journey that underpins my work. Each badge links to an in-depth article on the blog.
A place, a family or a shared passage can become the basis for a new narrative project. In my atelier in Altamura we can translate these bonds into proportions, materials and personal signs.
The initial meeting is to clarify desires, materials, structure, timelines, and feasibility. It doesn't require an immediate decision.
