This white gold ring with diamonds it focuses the light on a broad, geometric and slightly tapered upper surface. The pavé creates a continuous texture, while the polished sides keep the structure sharp and accompany the transition towards the shank.
On the hand the jewel takes on a resolute presence: the contrast between the luminous density of the central part and the calm of the metal makes the design legible and measured.

The initial consultation serves to define the geometry, proportions, metal, gemstones and verification methods best suited to the process.
Pavé belongs to my archive of completed creations and documents a method. A new ring is redesigned taking into account the size, the proportions of the hand, the quantity and arrangement of the gems, the metal, the intended use and the desired character.
In my workshop in Altamura I personally oversee the project, even remotely, so that every formal and technical choice finds a solution that is consistent with the person who will wear it.
The project stems from a request by a New York client, drawn by the compact light of pavé and by modern, simple, and linear geometries. I worked on the dimensional selection and the arrangement of the diamonds to achieve a balanced surface, without interrupting the clarity of the form.
The initial reference was transformed through proportions, angles and details built around the hand and the expressed preferences.
I developed an 18-carat white gold pavé ring with natural diamonds, starting from 3D modelling and rendering verification. Prototyping allowed the client to physically try on the ring before lost-wax casting, assessing its height, thickness and presence on the hand.
The pavé setting distributes the light across the top, while polishing and quality control complete the precision of the surfaces and joints.
Since 2009, I have guided private clients and couples through the creation of their jewellery in my atelier. Over thirty years of goldsmithing experience guide every stage: listening, design, workshop, quality control, and delivery. Awards, mentions, and accolades tell the story of the artisanal, technical, and creative journey that underpins my work. Each badge links to an in-depth article on the blog.
A surface of diamonds requires a balance between light, structure and wearability. In my studio in Altamura we can develop a new ring starting from your preferences and verify it through renders and a prototype.
The initial meeting is to clarify desires, materials, structure, timelines, and feasibility. It doesn't require an immediate decision.
