I personally oversee every project, from the initial consultation to the final check in my workshop in Altamura.
“Il mio Reame” belongs to my archive of completed works and documents a journey built on listening, trial and executive responsibility. It does not constitute a template to be reproduced: a new project is redesigned taking into account the person, the sizing, the proportions of the hand, the available materials, the intended use and the meaning entrusted to the piece of jewellery. In my atelier in Altamura I personally oversee every step.
The project came about through discussions with the client and a selection of images used to clarify the desired aesthetic: elegant, understated and rooted in the Italian tradition of goldsmithing. The starting point involved gold and diamonds inherited from her parents, to be reworked into a new form.
I translated these references into a recognisable two-colour structure, without relying on a predefined solution.
I developed the ring through 3D modelling and prototyping, so as to check heights, thicknesses and proportions on the finger prior to lost-wax casting. The 18-carat white and pink gold holds reclaimed natural diamonds, set in prong and flush settings. Hand-engraving in the Florentine style defines surfaces and edges; polishing and final inspection complete the visual balance and build quality.
Every review reflects a real commission: the initial consultation, the listening process, the definition of the project, the anticipation and the moment the finished piece becomes part of the client’s life.
