This piece of jewellery stems from the desire to give a restrained form to a bond that has successfully navigated a difficult period without losing continuity. The lines of the ring appear to follow separate paths before meeting around the central light: a movement that can evoke closeness, endurance and mutual choice. The story is left to the structure, without explaining everything: the material safeguards the meaning with discretion.

The starting point was precise: to look for something special without sacrificing simplicity, linearity and a contemporary character. The design also had to retain the meaning of a love capable of staying together during the pandemic. I therefore worked on lines that separate and come back together, letting the structure suggest connection and continuity without turning the story into a didactic symbol.
I designed 18-carat white gold little hearts with a natural oval-cut diamond, integrating 3D modelling and prototyping into the shape-definition process. Before final production, discussion and fitting allowed us to evaluate overall proportions, heights and thicknesses. Work continued with lost-wax casting, flush setting, polishing and quality control, maintaining consistency between design and wearability.
