Geometrie is a yellow gold ring featuring emerald Natural octagon cut, built on a decisive relationship between lines, volumes and surfaces. The stone concentrates the gaze at the centre, while the shank develops a wide and articulated structure, lightened by internal voids that define its profile. The alternation between engraved parts and polished areas adds visual depth without interrupting the clarity of the composition.

I follow the process directly, from the initial consultation to the technical verification of the shape prior to production.
Geometrie belongs to my archive of completed works and bears witness to a journey built on a specific request. In my workshop in Altamura, every new project is redesigned taking into account the hand, proportions, materials, intended use and aesthetic direction. Even when an archival creation becomes a reference, the work begins anew from listening and leads to an autonomous solution, consistent with the individual.
The initial request was focused on a contemporary and recognisable ring through defined geometries, without resorting to diamonds. The emerald was chosen as the sole gemmological presence and as the chromatic focal point of the project. I therefore developed a structure capable of combining planes, openings and the continuity of the metal, keeping the design legible and consistent with the essential character indicated by the clients.
I crafted Geometrie in 18-carat yellow gold with a natural octagonal-cut emerald. The design involved 3D modelling and prototyping, allowing proportions, heights and thicknesses to be checked directly on the finger prior to final production. This was followed by lost-wax casting, flush setting, hand-engraved silk-effect burin work, polishing and quality control, with careful attention to the relationship between the surfaces and the structure.
Since 2009, I have guided private clients and couples through the creation of their jewellery in my atelier. Over thirty years of goldsmithing experience guide every stage: listening, design, workshop, quality control, and delivery. Awards, mentions, and accolades tell the story of the artisanal, technical, and creative journey that underpins my work. Each badge links to an in-depth article on the blog.
If you are looking for a ring with a precise design language, I can start from your formal preferences and turn them into a project tailored to your hand and for real-world use.
The initial meeting is to clarify desires, materials, structure, timelines, and feasibility. It doesn't require an immediate decision.
