The solitaire earrings with diamonds Twist concentrate their visual presence into a compact shape, built around natural diamonds. The 18-carat white gold accompanies the stones with a soft and enveloping flow, leaving ample space for the light. On the lobe, the design remains restrained and clean: the setting supports the diamond without weighing down its reading, while the rounded profile keeps the whole piece compact and well-defined.

The initial meeting serves to evaluate stones, proportions and manufacturing possibilities before defining the direction of the project.
Twist belongs to my archive of completed creations and documents a solution conceived for a specific person and occasion. Each new pair of earrings is redesigned taking into account the face, wearability, proportions, available diamonds, setting structure and desired level of presence. The archive reference therefore serves to open up a design direction, not to replicate the piece shown.
Twist was born as a gift from the groom's parents to the bride, with a specific request: elegance and simplicity in a pair of stud earrings. I interpreted this direction by looking for a setting that would not compete with the diamond, but would accompany its shape with a continuous line. Its character thus derives from the proportion between stone, metal and presence on the lobe, avoiding unnecessary decorative elements and maintaining an essential look.
I developed the earrings using 3D modelling and prototyping, so as to check the relationship between the diamond, the prongs and the volume of the setting prior to lost-wax casting. The prong setting leaves a large part of the stone exposed and encourages the passage of light. In my workshop in Altamura, I personally oversee the polishing and quality control, checking the symmetry of the pair, finishes, stone security and proportionality.
Since 2009, I have guided private clients and couples through the creation of their jewellery in my atelier. Over thirty years of goldsmithing experience guide every stage: listening, design, workshop, quality control, and delivery. Awards, mentions, and accolades tell the story of the artisanal, technical, and creative journey that underpins my work. Each badge links to an in-depth article on the blog.
I can develop new earrings starting from the gemstone, the desired proportions and the relationship the piece of jewellery will have with the face.
The initial meeting is to clarify desires, materials, structure, timelines, and feasibility. It doesn't require an immediate decision.
