The white gold earrings with rubies They develop a drop earring line built upon two heart shapes, a wider one and an inner one, joined by a soft and continuous flow. The ruby, positioned at the lobe, introduces a sharp point of colour that precedes the moving part. The composition remains light thanks to the central negative spaces and the slender vertical connection, whilst the movement accompanies the face without weighing down the overall presence.

The initial meeting serves to clarify shape, proportions, materials and feasibility before defining the project.
Cuori d’amore belongs to my archive of previously created pieces and documents a solution born from a specific request. Every new project is redesigned considering the person, the occasion, the proportions of the face, the materials, the stones and the way in which the piece of jewellery will be worn. The archive reference therefore serves to open up a direction, not to reproduce what has already been done.
The project was created as a gift from Christmas For a bride-to-be busy with wedding preparations and particularly fond of the heart shape, I turned this brief into an essential design, avoiding overloading the theme with extra elements. The ruby introduces an intense note of colour, while the open structure keeps the composition airy and contemporary, consistent with a recognisable yet restrained affectionate symbol.
I developed the shape through 3D modelling and prototyping, steps useful for controlling proportions, suspension and the relationship between the earlobe point and the dangling part. Lost-wax casting translated the design into 18-carat white gold. Prong setting accommodates the natural rubies; polishing and quality control complete the work. In my workshop in Altamura I directly oversee the consistency, finishes and movement of the pair.
Since 2009, I have guided private clients and couples through the creation of their jewellery in my atelier. Over thirty years of goldsmithing experience guide every stage: listening, design, workshop, quality control, and delivery. Awards, mentions, and accolades tell the story of the artisanal, technical, and creative journey that underpins my work. Each badge links to an in-depth article on the blog.
From a shape, a stone or an occasion, I can develop earrings reimagined in their proportions and details for the person who will wear them.
The initial meeting is to clarify desires, materials, structure, timelines, and feasibility. It doesn't require an immediate decision.
