18-carat rose gold Arabian earrings with curvilinear motifs, front and side view

Arabian

Curves, apertures and rose gold construct a compact, lightweight and measured ornamental sign

The creation

The 18-carat rose gold Arabian earrings develop a compact and symmetrical shape, built within an almost circular profile. The design alternates solid areas and openings, with curvilinear motifs that intertwine without weighing down the surface. On the lobe, the presence remains compact and well-defined: the light flows over the reliefs and recedes into the voids, highlighting the rhythm of the composition and the warm tone of the gold as a whole.

Bring your aesthetic language into a new project

A personal taste can become the starting point for new earrings designed around the person who will wear them.

The initial meeting serves to define the aesthetic direction, proportions, materials and feasibility before developing the project.

Personalised jewellery

Arabian belongs to my archive of creations already produced and testifies to a specific interpretation of taste, proportions and material. Each new earring design is redrawn considering the individual, the way they will be worn, the dimensions, the materials and the desired aesthetic language, so that the initial reference leads to an autonomous solution that is coherent with the person who will wear them.

From inspiration to design

Inspiration

The project was born as a small gift for a very dear friend, a companion in adventure and lover of oriental style. After browsing through my gallery of creations and admiring the’Arabia ring, commissioned this pair of earrings from me. I took this preference as a starting point to build a personal ornamental sign, avoiding literal quotations. The shape seeks a balance between decorative memory and contemporary proportion: a recognisable design, capable of evoking that taste through curves, symmetries and an open profile.

Materials and finishes

I developed Arabian through 3D modelling and prototyping, so as to control proportions, thicknesses and the relationship between solids and voids prior to lost-wax casting. The 18-carat rose gold enhances the design with a warm, continuous light. After casting, polishing defines the reliefs and makes the transitions of the form sharper; in my workshop in Altamura I also directly oversee the final inspection of the pair.

Certifications and registrations

Technical expertise, professional registrations and qualifications have accompanied the development of my work in the goldsmithing and jewellery field.

Awards and recognition

Since 2009, I have guided private clients and couples through the creation of their jewellery in my atelier. Over thirty years of goldsmithing experience guide every stage: listening, design, workshop, quality control, and delivery. Awards, mentions, and accolades tell the story of the artisanal, technical, and creative journey that underpins my work. Each badge links to an in-depth article on the blog.

How is a piece of jewellery born?

A piece of jewellery can be inspired by a specific request or by a story worth cherishing. It is Custom when it starts with a shape, a stone, a material or a style to be crafted to measure. It becomes narrative When transforming a memory, symbol or personal passage into substance, proportion and meaning. Wedding rings, rings, pendants, necklaces and bracelets can follow both paths. In the Jewellery section, you can discover which one best suits your idea.

Do you want to start from a creation like this?

From a taste, a visual reference or a shape, I can develop earrings reimagined in their proportions and details for the individual.

The initial meeting is to clarify desires, materials, structure, timelines, and feasibility. It doesn't require an immediate decision.
