Every project begins from a different point.
It may be a shape, a gemstone, a story, a material or a specific need. My role is to understand where to begin, assess what is realistically achievable and guide each choice through to the final creation.
I do not follow a rigid sequence that is identical for everyone. I work according to principles that adapt to the nature and complexity of each project.
The initial conversation helps me understand the starting point and clarify which steps are genuinely necessary.

This method is designed for those who do not want to proceed by trial and error, but wish to understand each step before moving forward. It makes clear how ideas are assessed, which checks may be useful and when a project is ready to move into development. The aim is to reduce uncertainty through a clear, considered and personally supervised process.

One point of contact throughout
Throughout the process, you have one point of contact: the person who listens to your idea, assesses the materials and gemstones, develops the design, follows the making and checks the final result.
The person who listens is the same person who evaluates, designs, follows the work and carries out the final checks. Nothing is passed from one department to another, and the meaning of the project remains intact.
How I manage each project
These stages explain the process in practical terms: what happens after the first meeting, which decisions are made, when the project moves into technical development and how it is checked before handover.
1. I listen first
Every project begins with a private meeting, either in the atelier or by video call, to understand the starting point: a new piece of jewellery, a transformation, a gemstone, metal from a family heirloom, a restoration, an appraisal or maintenance.
2. Quote and project definition
Once the direction is defined, I prepare a clear quote and, where necessary, a brief outlining the objectives, working methods, timescale, materials and expected documentation. The project is confirmed according to the terms agreed during the initial consultation.
3. 3D design and prototypes
Once the project is approved, the idea begins to take shape through 3D design and photorealistic renderings. When useful, I create a full-scale 1:1 model that can be sent to clients who are unable to visit the atelier. This allows proportions, volume and comfort to be assessed before the jewellery is made. Making begins only after explicit confirmation.
4. Making, setting and finishing
Once the project has been confirmed, the jewellery is made in the workshop using techniques chosen according to the design, materials and gemstones involved. Traditional goldsmithing methods, laser welding, stone setting and finishing are selected where appropriate, and I personally oversee each stage of the work.
Where appropriate, you may also attend the setting of the gemstones once the necessary checks or appraisals have been completed.
5. Final checks, documentation and handover
Before handover, I check the finishes, settings, comfort and consistency with the approved design.
Where applicable, the jewellery is accompanied by technical documentation, identification photographs, care instructions, gemmological analyses, certifications or appraisals. Before the jewellery is made, each project can be studied through digital design, renderings, proportions, volumes and prototypes. This makes it possible to see, understand and assess the piece before it takes physical form. A clear design reduces uncertainty and helps guide each choice with greater awareness.

Many projects already begin remotely. Through online meetings, photographs, videos, measurements and shared documents, I can assess the starting point and guide the necessary decisions before the work begins.
When physical checks, materials or prototypes are required, we define the most appropriate next step together. The first meeting, including online, does not require an immediate decision.
Method, protection and professional responsibility
The method is not only about creating the jewellery. It also helps protect the choices that have shaped its journey: materials, gemstones, craftsmanship, checks and documentation.
When a creation carries sentimental, technical or financial value, clarity becomes part of its protection. This is why method and guarantees belong to the same system: careful design, verification and documentation.
What to prepare before the first consultation
There is no need to arrive with a fully formed idea. It can be helpful to bring photographs, existing jewellery, family gemstones, metals, documents, certificates or simply visual references.
During the initial consultation, I assess with you what is genuinely useful, what may be transformed, what is worth preserving and which information is still needed before proceeding.
