Traditional

18-carat yellow gold wedding bands, crafted around the simplicity of the goldsmith's tradition

The creation

Traditional handcrafted wedding bands express a classic form through two bands in 18-carat yellow gold, with a soft profile and a continuous polished surface. I worked on restrained proportions, metal fullness and comfort, allowing their constructive simplicity to define their presence. On the hand, the rounded line accompanies everyday gestures with balance and a warm glow, without any added decorative elements.

Tradition, designed around you

A classic shape can become yours when proportions, materials and craftsmanship are rethought around the couple.

The initial consultation can also take place via video call and serves to define the direction, proportions, and feasibility of the project together.

Bespoke wedding rings

Tradizionali belongs to my archive of created works and bears witness to a precise journey between listening, proportions and manual craft. Each new pair is guided towards a design re-tailored to one's hands, the chosen material, everyday use and the meaning it wishes to hold. The archive shows what I have already made and opens the dialogue towards a new bespoke interpretation.

From inspiration to design

Inspiration

The inspiration stems from the couple's desire to find an authentic, handcrafted character in their wedding rings, tied to the goldsmithing tradition. Discussions helped to translate this request into concrete choices regarding shape, height and thickness, verified through prototypes. The preliminary phase began via video call and was completed in my studio in Altamura, where the project found its definitive size.

Materials and finishes

For this pair of wedding rings, I used traditional goldsmithing techniques carried out by hand in 18-carat yellow gold. Before the final creation, the couple were able to try on the prototypes and evaluate proportions, heights, and thicknesses with me. They also followed the manufacturing steps closely through the experience Goldsmiths for a Day experiencea tangible way to understand the value of the artisan's craft and knowingly take part in the creation of one's own wedding rings.

Certifications and registrations

Technical expertise, professional registrations and qualifications have accompanied the development of my work in the goldsmithing and jewellery field.
