Initials is a pair of bespoke anniversary bands in 18-carat yellow and white gold, developed from the couple's original wedding rings. The structure introduces five points punctuated by small discs bearing initials, connected by a white gold band with a silk-effect engraving. The design alternates geometry, engraved surfaces and yellow gold details, transforming the circumference into a familiar composition that is legible and well-proportioned on the hand.

During the initial meeting, I will assess with you what you wish to keep, transform or add, connecting meaning, structure and feasibility.
Initials belongs to my archive of completed creations and documents a transformation designed for this family and their anniversary. Every new project is redesigned around the people, the proportions of their hands, the materials, the intended use and the meaning to be treasured. This creation may suggest a method, but the geometry, marks and relationships between the parts must be born anew through discussion.
For their anniversary, the couple wanted to include the family they had built over time in their wedding rings: two parents and three children. This inspired the five-pointed shape, with a disc dedicated to each member and their respective initial. I developed the design on their original yellow gold wedding rings, using the engraved silk-effect white gold band as the element that connects the five symbols and quietly makes the idea of belonging visible.
I worked in 18-carat yellow and white gold through 3D modelling, prototyping, lost-wax casting, graver engraving, polishing and quality control. The white gold band undergoes a silk-effect engraved finish, while the discs at the five vertices feature the initials. The preliminary phase took place in my studio in Altamura, where I directly supervised the proportions, construction steps and overall coherence.
Discover what it means to create your wedding rings together
Come into the workshop and discover a different way of experiencing the creation of your wedding rings.
You will be involved in the most significant phases of the process, accompanied step by step throughout the experience.
At the end of the day, you will take away not only the wedding rings, but also the memory of having made them together with your own hands.
Since 2009, I have guided private clients and couples through the creation of their jewellery in my atelier. Over thirty years of goldsmithing experience guide every stage: listening, design, workshop, quality control, and delivery. Awards, mentions, and accolades tell the story of the artisanal, technical, and creative journey that underpins my work. Each badge links to an in-depth article on the blog.
An anniversary can become an opportunity to rethink your wedding rings through initials, geometries or other personal marks, building a design consistent with the history you have achieved together.
The initial meeting is to clarify desires, materials, structure, timelines, and feasibility. It doesn't require an immediate decision.
