The rose gold Starfish pendant establishes its presence in a figurative style, compact and immediately legible. The five arms develop with balanced proportions and surfaces rich in relief and engraving that modulate the light, while the centre visually pulls the composition together. When worn, the pendant maintains a defined presence without losing visual lightness, with a design that remains recognisable even from a distance.

The initial meeting serves to clarify references, proportions, materials and feasibility, without requiring an immediate decision.
Stelle Marine belongs to my archive of completed creations and documents a design journey, not a shape to be repeated. Each new pendant is redesigned considering the person, proportions, materials, use and meaning, so that the result stems from real needs and direct dialogue. The archive can offer references and directions, while in my studio in Altamura I personally oversee the development of every new project.
The project originates from images chosen by clients in my Creations gallery and the desire to develop a personal shape connected to the sea. The two pendants were intended for the bridesmaids at a wedding; for the bride and groom, who grew up in a seaside town, the starfish evoked their homeland and a symbolism of regeneration, protection and inner guidance. I translated these references into a coordinated shape designed for their gesture of giving.
I developed the Starfish through 3D modelling and prototyping, in order to check proportions, heights, thicknesses and presence with clients prior to crafting in 18-carat rose gold. The manufacturing process involved lost-wax casting, burin engraving, polishing and quality control. Reviewing the prototype allowed us to evaluate the shape on the body and refine the details before moving on to the final material.
Since 2009, I have guided private clients and couples through the creation of their jewellery in my atelier. Over thirty years of goldsmithing experience guide every stage: listening, design, workshop, quality control, and delivery. Awards, mentions, and accolades tell the story of the artisanal, technical, and creative journey that underpins my work. Each badge links to an in-depth article on the blog.
If you wish to start from an image, a place or a symbol, I can guide you in defining a new bespoke piece of jewellery, from the initial proportions to the verification of the prototype.
