Piuma is a Engagement ring narrative in rose gold and white gold, characterised by an enveloping shape that recalls the gentle movement of a feather. The engravings run across the surface creating rhythm and depth, while the white gold element crosses the composition like a line of continuity between matter and meaning.

The initial meeting serves to understand the history, style, materials and production possibilities of the project.
In this creation, the feather becomes the symbol of a bond that has crossed the distance without losing its direction. It represents that which the wind can carry away but not scatter, that which continues to be recognised even when life imposes different paths. The promise takes shape precisely in this meeting between waiting, trust and a shared choice.
Piuma belongs to the archive of creations made in my workshop in Altamura. It is not a model to be reproduced, but a testimony to how a story can be translated into matter. Every new project stems from a different path, built through listening, research and dedicated design.
The inspiration stems from a poem written by the client. In their words, the beloved is imagined as a feather carried away by the wind, first by studies and then by professional life. The marriage proposal represents the moment when that presence, awaited and desired, finally finds a concrete form to cherish.
The creation is in rose gold and white gold and has been crafted entirely by hand in my workshop in Altamura. Sheet metal work, piercing and burin engraving build the texture that evokes the lightness of a feather, while the white gold profile follows the shape and enhances its movement.
Since 2009, I have guided private clients and couples through the creation of their jewellery in my atelier. Over thirty years of goldsmithing experience guide every stage: listening, design, workshop, quality control, and delivery. Awards, mentions, and accolades tell the story of the artisanal, technical, and creative journey that underpins my work. Each badge links to an in-depth article on the blog.
An engagement ring can be born from a poem, a shared memory or a symbol that belongs solely to your story. In the first meeting, I listen to the meaning you wish to tell and consider how to translate it into material, proportions and craftsmanship.
The initial meeting is to clarify desires, materials, structure, timelines, and feasibility. It doesn't require an immediate decision.
