Detail of the Coloured Bubbles bracelet with three spherical elements and coloured natural stones

Coloured bubbles

Small volumes of light and colour build a gentle rhythm around the wrist

The creation

The white gold bracelet with coloured stones alternates three spherical volumes with sections of chain left visually open. The openings lighten the shapes and allow the light to pass through them, while the small stones introduce chromatic accents distributed without weighing down the overall piece. On the wrist, the design maintains a lively yet measured presence, consistent with the initial request for simplicity and spontaneity.

Start from an occasion, arrive at a personal form

From a personal occasion, a new bespoke bracelet can be created, designed around colours, proportions and how it is worn.

The initial meeting is used to focus on the desire, proportions, materials and feasibility of the new project.

Personalised jewellery

Bolle colorate belongs to my archive of completed work and documents a solution created for a specific person and occasion. For a new project, I always start afresh from who will wear it, the proportions, the intended use, the materials and the aesthetic direction chosen together. In my workshop in Altamura, I personally oversee these steps right through to defining the most coherent construction.

From inspiration to design

Inspiration

Bolle colorate was born as a gift from a grandmother for an eighteenth birthday. The brief did not seek a solemn construction, but a fresh, immediate shape capable of accompanying a young person with naturalness. I translated this direction into rounded, hollow elements and small dots of colour, avoiding a rigid composition. The result retains the character of the occasion without turning it into a narrative that was not declared.

Materials and finishes

I designed the 18-carat white gold bracelet with mixed natural coloured stones. 3D modeling and prototyping made it possible to control the volumes and the ratio between solids and voids before lost-wax casting. The stones were set using claw setting, so as to accompany the open construction of the elements. Polishing and quality control concluded the work by checking surfaces, joints and overall behaviour on the wrist.

Certifications and registrations

Technical expertise, professional registrations and qualifications have accompanied the development of my work in the goldsmithing and jewellery field.

Awards and recognition

Since 2009, I have guided private clients and couples through the creation of their jewellery in my atelier. Over thirty years of goldsmithing experience guide every stage: listening, design, workshop, quality control, and delivery. Awards, mentions, and accolades tell the story of the artisanal, technical, and creative journey that underpins my work. Each badge links to an in-depth article on the blog.

How is a piece of jewellery born?

A piece of jewellery can be inspired by a specific request or by a story worth cherishing. It is Custom when it starts with a shape, a stone, a material or a style to be crafted to measure. It becomes narrative When transforming a memory, symbol or personal passage into substance, proportion and meaning. Wedding rings, rings, pendants, necklaces and bracelets can follow both paths. In the Jewellery section, you can discover which one best suits your idea.

Do you want to start from a creation like this?

If you would like to dedicate a piece of jewellery to a specific person or moment, we can define the shape, materials and character together without starting from pre-established solutions.

The initial meeting is to clarify desires, materials, structure, timelines, and feasibility. It doesn't require an immediate decision.
