The victory of the exclusive jewel. The Apulian semi-final of the Italian Wedding Awards, now in its fourth national and second Apulian edition, has presented awards to companies and professionals of excellence in the wedding industry.

The Apulian style is also becoming an important reference point in the world of weddings and destination weddings. Thirteen categories are in competition, with only a single winner for each, who will then go on to contend for the national title during the final at the Reggia di Venaria Reale in Turin.

The winners were decided by the jury chaired by Marilina Desario from Puglia Promozione.

Personalities who, through their work, have contributed to the success of the Puglia brand were also awarded outside the competition. Among the special mentions: Borgo Egnazia, the writer Luca Bianchini, the stylist Domenico Vacca, Roberto Pansini ed Ester Maria Laruccia, director of one of the most important international events dedicated to bridal fashion.

Antonio Colonna's jeweller's in Altamura has received the nomination for the Italian Wedding Awards Puglia. When I received the communication, I was astonished, happy, and aware that I was facing a potential confirmation of my path.

I wasn't just thinking about my goldsmith's workshop, but a school of thought: one that considers the jewel not as a simple product, but as an experience, a memory and a concrete form of a bond.

Exclusive jewellery in Puglia: beyond the serial model

The nomination for the Italian Wedding Awards Puglia was, for me, an important confirmation: exclusive jewellery cannot be confused with mass-produced jewellery.

For years, major brands have used words like “personalisation” and “exclusivity” for objects that are still born from standardised processes. An engraving, a date or a small variation are not enough, on their own, to transform a mass-produced product into a truly bespoke piece of jewellery.

An exclusive piece of jewellery, on the other hand, is born from attentive listening, dedicated design and a direct relationship with the person who will wear it. This is where craftsmanship once again becomes decisive.

Why Goldsmiths for a Day received this recognition

Within my Jewelry Experience I have devised a journey dedicated to couples: Goldsmiths for a Day. The idea is simple and profound: forge memories, not just buy objects.

I offer couples the opportunity to experience the creation of their own rings at first hand, turning the choice of wedding bands into a shared gesture. For many people, the date they take part in the birth of their rings becomes almost as important as the wedding day itself.

In my work, the jewel thus becomes once again a container of intangible assets: emotions, memory, promises, desires, life transitions.

La Jewellery Experience stems precisely from this conviction: inside every truly exclusive piece of jewellery there should be the uniqueness of the person or couple for whom it is created.

Those who wish to explore this path further can visit the dedicated page at Goldsmiths for a Day or the one dedicated to Bespoke wedding rings.
